seeking an experienced Project Manager / Equipment Lead Consultant to manage the delivery of major equipment projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.\nThis role will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from equipment design and procurement through factory acceptance testing (FAT), installation, commissioning, qualification, and handover.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineering professional with a strong track record of delivering complex capital equipment projects, managing vendors, and coordinating cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.\nLead equipment-related projects from concept through design, FAT, installation, commissioning, qualification, and project close-out.\nMonitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.\nProvide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.\nCoordinate the shipment, delivery, installation, and commissioning of major equipment packages.\nEquipment & Vendor Management\nManage relationships with equipment suppliers and external vendors.\nDrive issue resolution and ensure vendor performance meets project requirements.\nCoordinate FAT activities and oversee successful equipment acceptance.\nEnsure equipment installation activities are executed safely and efficiently.\nStakeholder & Team Leadership\nLead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Procurement.\nFacilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders.\nDrive collaboration and accountability to achieve project objectives.\nMentor and support team members throughout project delivery.\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nPromote a strong culture of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure equipment complies with relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements, including CE compliance where applicable.\nSupport equipment qualification and validation activities.\nEnsure all project activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.\nRisk Management\nIdentify project risks, issues, and potential roadblocks.\nDevelop and implement mitigation plans to minimise project impact.\nConduct regular risk reviews and communicate key risks to stakeholders.\nRequirements\nEssential\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.\nProven experience leading major equipment or capital projects within a regulated industry.\nStrong project management skills with experience managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.\nExperience managing equipment design, FAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities.\nDesirable\nExperience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated environments.\nKnowledge of equipment validation and qualification processes.\nFamiliarity with CE marking and machinery safety requirements.\nProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).\nExperience delivering large-scale capital
