This is a senior technical role focused on the design, development and continuous improvement of enterprise automation frameworks supporting complex financial applications.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design and ongoing development of enterprise test automation frameworks.\nTake technical ownership of automation solutions built primarily around Java, Playwright and API testing technologies.\nEstablish strong engineering practices around automation, code quality and reusable framework components.\nProvide technical guidance, code reviews and support to engineers working across automation initiatives.\nWork with application, development and QA teams to identify opportunities for effective automation.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes.\nHelp define automation standards, best practices and development approaches across the wider technology environment.\nAct as a senior technical point of contact between QA, engineering, project and business stakeholders. \nRequirements\nStrong experience in QA engineering, software testing and test automation.\nAdvanced Java development skills with experience building or extending automation frameworks.\nHands-on experience with technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber and RestAssured.\nStrong understanding of API, UI and automated application testing.\nExperience integrating test automation into CI/CD environments.\nGood knowledge of Git-based version control and modern software engineering practices.\nExperience with SQL and database validation.\nPrevious experience within banking, financial services or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills. \nLocation & Eligibility\nDublin-based hybrid role.
