The hours are Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm (7am-2pm Friday). The role is based in Damanstown, Dublin 15. The person will lead quality operations in switchgear manufacturing facility, overseeing a number of our 18 production lines and approximately 400 production employees. The successful candidate will ensure product quality, compliance with applicable international standards, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage quality control activities across all production lines.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 9001, applicable IEC standards, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures.\nOversee incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, electrical testing, and final product inspection.\nMonitor quality KPIs, including defects, rework, scrap, first-pass yield, and customer complaints.\nLead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nManage supplier quality, customer complaints, audits, and nonconformance reporting.\nDevelop and lead the quality team, ensuring effective inspection coverage and technical competency.\nEnforce quality standards and ensure that nonconforming products are identified, contained, and not released without proper authorization.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality, including 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.\nExperience in switchgear manufacturing, electrical panels, or related electrical equipment is essential.\nGood knowledge of ISO 9001, relevant IEC standards, electrical testing, and quality improvement methodologies.\nStrong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent quality certification is an advantage.\nKey Competencies\nStrong technical and quality management expertise.\nAbility to manage quality across multiple production lines.\nData-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.\nStrong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.\nCommitment to product safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.\nWhat We Offer\nAn opportunity to lead and strengthen quality performance in a large-scale manufacturing environment, with significant responsibility for product excellence and continuous improvement.\nSalary: €50 -
