Site Manager - Job Description Key responsibilities Health and safety Run every site in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and the project's Safety and Health Plan Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily safety checks, and keep registers, permits and inspection records up to date Make sure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place and followed before work starts Report and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, and act on the findings Programme and delivery Plan and sequence the works, and keep the programme up to date week by week alongside contracts manager Coordinate our own crew and subcontractors so each trade is on site at the right time Order materials, plant and equipment in good time and check deliveries against orders alongside commercial department. Flag delays, design issues and variations early to the Contracts Manager Quality Check work against drawings, specifications and Building Regulations as it goes, not just at the end Manage snagging and handover, including completion paperwork and any certification needed Liaise with architects, engineers and Building Control inspectors on sit
