Self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented;\nHas keen attention to detail and wants to solve really hard problems, not just detect them;\nAble to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly;\nKeenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption;\nAble to work with remote and international team members.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nUse your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security;\nActively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests;\nSupport the team in designing reliable, portable, accurate and trustworthy tests, and in integrating them into CI/CD pipelines;\nCollaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health;\nEnable the team in designing and developing automation harnesses using Ruby or Java w/ Cucumber and SOA Test;\nParticipate in application code and test code reviews with rest of the Scrum team;\nParticipate in development using Javascript/Angular and Webservices/HTTP.\nQualifications:\nA Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field;\n6 to 9 years of experience with designing and building front-end and webservice applications while incorporating test automation frameworks;\nWorking experience with: Ruby (or Java); Cucumber; Javascript; HTTP; RESTful web services; Jenkins.\nPreferred Experience:\n AngularJS (2 or above); NodeJS; Docker; Genesys Contact Center Platform; Working experience with test automation frameworks (Cucumber w/ Ruby, SOATest, Selenium);\nHands-on experience with creating and using Test Doubles and Virtual Assets; Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
