As an Intern, CPA Program, you will join CPP Investments for an 8-month term from January to August 2027.\nThe Team\nThis internship also serves as a key talent pathway into CPP Investments’ full-time CPA Rotational Analyst Program. High-performing interns who demonstrate strong performance and an interest in obtaining their CPA designation may be considered for a return offer.\nFinancial Policy & Reporting\nAs an Intern, you will join the Financial Policy & Reporting team, which is responsible for establishing CPP Investments’ accounting policies and supporting compliance with the CPPIB Act and applicable accounting standards. The team plays an important role in delivering transparent, high-quality financial reporting to external stakeholders and maintaining a strong financial control environment.\nYou will gain practical exposure to financial reporting and accounting policy within a large, global investment organization, supporting the team’s work across areas such as financial statement preparation, accounting analysis, internal controls, and governance. You will also gain an understanding of how accounting and reporting considerations connect to CPP Investments’ broader investment activities and financial operations.\nInternship Experience\nYour experience begins with Intern Orientation, where you’ll connect with fellow interns and gain a broad understanding of how the Fund operates across teams and functions. Throughout the term, you will participate in organization-wide events and initiatives while building your skills through hands-on, on-the-job learning aligned with the Financial Policy & Reporting team’s priorities.\nYou’ll also participate in a cross-functional Intern Hackathon, collaborating with peers across departments to solve real business challenges. The program emphasizes mentorship, networking, and social events to help you build meaningful connections across the organization.
