You will provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement, and collaborate with business, Technology & Data and vendor partners to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that respond to evolving business needs.\nThe Team\nRisk & TFM Technology is part of CPP Investments’ Technology & Data department, providing technology capabilities that support business needs across the organization. This role supports the SimCorp team, helping build and maintain technology solutions within a predominantly AWS-hosted environment.\nAccountabilities\nDesign, develop, test and support end-to-end technology solutions that enable complex business capabilities in an Agile environment.\nProvide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship while driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement across Technology & Data.\nApply strong knowledge of software engineering, cloud technologies and supported business capabilities to guide technical decisions and solution design.\nFoster innovation and agility through experimentation, early feedback and responsiveness to evolving business needs.\nAnalyze complex technical challenges, develop recommendations and collaborate with colleagues to implement effective solutions.\nLead root-cause analysis across teams and support timely resolution of technology issues.\nBuild strong relationships with business partners, technology teams and vendors while promoting Agile software development practices.\nWhat You Bring\nUndergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field, such as Engineering or Computer Science.\n6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.\nExtensive programming experience with languages such as Python or Java.\nExperience developing, deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nStrong knowledge of software development principles, including version control, testing methodologies, Agile practices and writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.\nDemonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship while driving engineering best practices.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology partners.\nYou are motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself, approach complex challenges with rigor, and hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.\nWe provide colleagues with cutting-edge AI tools, dedicated learning time, and practical support to help them deliver with greater impact.\nInclusion & Accessibility\nCPP Investments is committed to equitable access to employment and building a workforce that reflects diverse talent and perspectives.
