The role involves both field and office work—ensuring successful\nsystem installations, training, and ongoing customer support while maintaining\nhigh service standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n System Installation & Configuration\n\n Install and configure Windows operating systems and all\n necessary drivers on PCS.\n\n Install and configure SQL Server databases.\n\n Set up network connections between devices\n\n Database Administration\n\n Manage and maintain databases, including backup, restore, and\n performance tuning.\n\n Write and execute scripts for data correction, reporting, and\n maintenance tasks.\n\n Reporting\n\n Design, customize, and troubleshoot Crystal Reports used POS/ERP\n applications\n\n Collaborate with the software team to generate accurate and\n timely business reports.\n\n Customer Support & Training\n\n Provide on-site and remote support to clients after\n installation.\n\n Train users (including non-technical personnel) on POS system\n operation and basic troubleshooting.\n\n Offer prompt and professional customer service to ensure\n client satisfaction.\n\n Networking & Hardware Support\n\n Set up and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches\n\n Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues with PCs and POS\n peripherals.\n\n Documentation & Compliance\n\n Document all installations and configurations for deployed\n hardware.\n\n Maintain accurate records of site visits, system updates, and\n client feedback.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n Education:\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related\n field.\n\n Experience:\n At least 5 years’ experience in IT support or system\n installation roles.\n\n Experience in POS/ERP installation and configuration\n will be a strong advantage.\n\nRequired Skills and Competencies:\n\nCategory\n\nSkills\n\nTechnical Skills\n\n- Proficiency in Computer Hardware\n Assembly and Troubleshooting\n\n - Strong Computer Networking skills (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers,\n switches)\n\n - MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and management\n\n - Ability to write and execute SQL queries/scripts\n\n - Experience with Crystal Reports design and customization\n\n - Familiarity with Windows Firewall and Security Configuration\n\nSoft Skills\n\n- Excellent Customer Service and\n communication skills\n\n - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability\n\n - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines\n\n - High level of discipline, integrity, and teamwork\n\nOther Attributes\n\n- Willingness to travel and work at\n client sites\n\n -
