Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to build, integrate and operate agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will work hands-on within the architecture defined by the AI Solution Architect, and you will own the reliability and correctness of what gets delivered. You will work directly with business product owners and client stakeholders, from the first workshops to a solution that is ready for production.

Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

• Take part in solution workshops with business product owners.

• Design and implement agents, agentic workflows and ML/AI components (agent logic, tool/function definitions, prompt and context design).

• Lead the hands-on implementation, from LLM integration to end-to-end agent behaviour.

• Make sure the solution runs reliably and repeatably, and can be demoed and extended beyond its initial scope.

Data & Model Engineering

• Design and build data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing and transformation (e.g. structured extraction from documents and contracts, data validation).

• Set up data quality checks and monitor output stability (e.g. variance between runs on unchanged inputs).

• Lead evaluation and tuning against agreed metrics (e.g. extraction accuracy, forecast accuracy).

Integration & Deployment

• Integrate AI components with client source systems, data stores and output formats (files, exports, spreadsheets).

• Manage deployment, monitoring, versioning and maintenance for the duration of the engagement.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work directly with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate results.

• Keep clear technical documentation of the implementation.

• Explain technical constraints, trade-offs and results to non-technical audiences (e.g. during demos).

Research & Innovation

• Assess whether the chosen technology stack (e.g. Google ADK) fits the use case, and report on cost, performance and limitations.

• Stay up to date with agentic frameworks and AI engineering best practices, and propose improvements during delivery.

Requirements

Must have

• Proven experience delivering AI/agentic solutions for enterprise-level companies.

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Google Agent Development Kit (ADK).

• Experience using Claude Code in day-to-day development.

• Strong proficiency in Python and solid data engineering skills.

• Applied experience with LLM/ML systems: integration, evaluation and tuning.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP).

• English at B2 level or higher,

• Ownership of your work, an analytical mindset and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the retail business.

• Financial or finance-domain knowledge.
