Model: Remote (working hours overlapping with US time zones)
Employment type: Full-time
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Tableau Consultant who will be responsible for the end-to-end design and rollout of a Tableau Cloud environment from scratch - someone who goes beyond dashboard building, with hands-on experience designing and implementing a complete analytics platform in a SaaS model: from architecture and security, through data integration and governance, to a production-ready environment for the whole organization.
The consultant will guide the organization through the full Tableau Cloud rollout process, including:
Gathering business and technical requirements, and designing the solution architecture
Designing the user, group, and permissions model, including authentication and Single Sign-On configuration
Configuring access to data sources, including refresh schedules and Tableau Bridge where needed
Preparing security and governance rules
Designing the project and content structure, and the content publishing and deployment process
Setting up platform monitoring and maintenance guidelines, and preparing documentation with knowledge transfer to the internal team
Requirements
Very strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud, including at least one complete greenfield deployment (setup from scratch), and the ability to design a target solution architecture in a SaaS model
Experience configuring Sites, Projects, Groups, Roles, and Permissions, together with authentication mechanisms and Single Sign-On
Experience designing data and report access models, including practical knowledge of Row-Level Security and other access restriction mechanisms
Experience integrating Tableau Cloud with data sources - live connections, extracts, refresh schedules, published data sources, and Tableau Bridge for sources in private networks
Experience designing data and content governance for Tableau, including standards for content organization, ownership, naming conventions, certified data sources, permissions, and report publishing/maintenance
Ability to design the environment structure and the content publishing/promotion process across DEV / TEST / PROD
Experience monitoring platform usage, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Very good knowledge of SQL and experience working with data models
Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business users
Nice to have
Tableau Next and the related Salesforce ecosystem (a big plus) - in particular: Tableau Semantics / Semantic Models, Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360, Salesforce Platform, Agentforce, semantic layer design, defining shared business metrics, integrating Salesforce data with the analytics layer, and security & governance in the Salesforce environment. Multi-year experience with Tableau Next is not required - hands-on exposure, involvement in pilot projects/implementations, or a solid understanding of its architecture and direction is enough.
Tableau REST API and Metadata API
Automation of Tableau administration
CI/CD for Tableau objects
Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with Salesforce
Tableau or Salesforce certifications
Experience designing BI platforms for several hundred or several thousand users
Employment conditions
B2B contract (up to 150 PLN net/h + VAT)
Fully remote service delivery (working hours overlapping with US time zones)
Broad range of projects (internal, international) - genuine variety of clients and tasks
Budget for skills development and certifications as part of the collaboration
Regular collaboration reviews and discussion of project scope
Additional benefits available as part of the collaboration
Networking and team-building events for project teams
