Ensuring production targets are achieved with minimal plant downtime, whilst striving for improvements, both as a team and personally.\nPartner with the best!\nWorking in a maintenance environment and reporting to the Plant Maintenance Team Leader, you will provide a multi-skilled technical service with the minimum of supervision to all departments including cleanroom environments. Working on a variety of technical equipment, and services covering breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and installation. You will be part of a team and will have good communication skills. The successful applicant must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow team members.\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nMaintaining the facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and F-Gas systems\nEnsuring downtime is kept to a minimum through planned preventative maintenance and break fix repairs\nWorking to maintain health & safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in line with company safe systems of work including Permit to Work\nProviding a professional service and represent the department in a way that promotes a professional working relationship\nEvaluating machine and maintenance performance, driving continual improvement of the maintenance activities\nEnsuring that maintenance records are updated and completed accurately\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you must have:\nHave completed a timed served apprenticeship in an engineering subject, be accredited to level 3 or 4 in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering\nHave a previous background in a maintenance environment is essential - including practical maintenance experience\nBe fluent in English, hold a UK passport/work permit and not require sponsorship in the future.\nHold a valid full UK driving license to enable travel as/when required\nHave good interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility to business requirements either working as part of a team or individually\nDesired characteristics include:\nHaving experience with vacuum systems, Electron Beam/laser welders and PLC’s would be advantageous\nHaving experience in a controlled/cleanroom production environment would be advantageous\n Work in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
