Specify, procure and maintain minimum stock inventory and process purchase transactions\n\nSupport other team members in their primary job functions, cross training and employee growth strategies\n\nSupport team activities and improvement efforts in Kaizen, 5S and maintenance and facilities events and practices\n\nAdditional tasks may include small tool maintenance and repairs, security badge processing, personnel office moves, etc.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExperience: 2+ years of experience in any of the following trades: machinist, mechanic, millwright, pipefitter, or equivalent\n\nKnowledge: Knowledge of general mechanical and engineering principles\n\nSkills/Abilities: Able to operate tool manufacturing equipment including mill and lathe\n\nAble to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and schematics and design basic tools including manufacturing drawings, explanation, assembly and installation; Excellent communication skills and tact\n\nAbility to work with other facilities and production personnel as a team on\n\nprojects and to adapt to changing instructions or conditions; Good hand-eye coordination, ability to climb and work on 12ft ladders and work from heights up to 25ft on man lifts\n\nEducation/Certification:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTrade school, apprenticeship, or certificate in a related field\n\nWorking Conditions:\nWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment\n\nManufacturing areas may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other\n\nrequired PPE\n\nMay be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes\n\nConditions include typical industrial environments including indoor, outdoor, and year-round rooftop\n\nMust be able to work at heights\n\nTasks may include the use of ladders, stairs, scaffolding, lifts, hand and power tools, meters and probes\n\nPhysical locations may require lying in prone position, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and occasional overhead reaching\n\nPhysical requirements include lifting, climbing, ladder work, forklift driving (training provided) and use of tools requiring physical strength and dexterity\n\nSome work may take place in production areas where discipline is required to reduce distractions for other employees\n\nSome weekend and extended hours are required based on equipment availability and production needs\n\nStanding: up to 100% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task\n\nSitting: up to 30% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task\n\nLifting (in pounds): up to 50 pounds\n\nPushing (in pounds): up to 75 pounds\n\nMental/Visual: use of computer\n\nWorkspace: cubicle/des\n\nSalary Range: $26.99/hr. - $35.13/hr.\nSeveral factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
