Primary functions will be to process and transport materials throughout the organization.\nPrinciple Duties (includes, but is not limited to):\nTransport and load/unload materials in the warehouse and value stream(s) to and from pallets, bins, racks, shelves, etc.\nPick parts for shipping and package according to shipping procedures. Complete appropriate paperwork needed to ship the material.\nPerform transactions in GLOVIA to ensure inventory accuracy.\nUse of pallet jacks, wav machine, forklifts and hand trucks to bring materials to the appropriate locations.\nFill Kan-Ban bins on the value stream(s).\nMonitor stockroom accuracy and report discrepancies in quantities to supervisors.\nEssential Qualifications / Experience:\nMust be able to stand, bend, push, and reach for long periods of time. \nMust be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent.\nMust have a basic reading/writing ability to read and interpret customer orders and shipping/trafficking requirements.\nBasic math and computer skills are necessary.\nKnowledge of GLOVIA inventory database is helpful but not required.\nMaterial handlers may be certified on the use of forklifts and other material moving equipment.\nEOE/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled\nSalary range: $18.00/hour. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
