This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing Tier 2/3 support to end users.\nPrinciple Responsibilities:\nSystem Administration\nAdminister and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and storage systems\nManage and support Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments\nPerform system monitoring, patch management, upgrades, and performance tuning\nEnsure system security, compliance, and adherence to IT policies\nBackup & Disaster Recovery\nManage and support Veeam Backup & Replication solutions\nConfigure and monitor backup jobs, replication, and recovery processes\nPerform regular backup validation and test restores\nDevelop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) procedures and documentation\n Endpoint Management (SCCM / MECM)\nAdminister Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager)\nDeploy applications, patches, and updates via Software Center\nTroubleshoot SCCM deployment failures and client issues\nManage OS deployments, task sequences, and software packaging\n Networking\nManage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure\nConfigure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)\nMonitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues\nManage VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security controls\n Help Desk & Support\nProvide Tier 2/3 technical support for users and IT systems\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues\nManage IT tickets, incidents, and service requests within SLA\nSupport end-user computing (Windows OS, applications, devices)\nQualifications/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)\n3 - 6+ years of experience in system administration, networking, or IT support\nAbility to be on-site daily and to provide after-hours support when needed\n Technical Skills Required\nNutanix HCI (AHV, Prism)\nVeeam Backup & Replication (backup, restore, DR)\nMicrosoft SCCM / MECM (deployments, patching, OSD)\nNetworking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)\nWindows Server administration\nActive Directory, Group Policy\nVirtualization technologies\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Azure or hybrid cloud environments\nPowerShell scripting and automation\nKnowledge of IT security best practices\nITIL framework familiarity\n Relevant certifications (preferred):\nNutanix Certified Professional (NCP)\nVeeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)\nMicrosoft certifications (MCSA, MD-102, etc.)\nCompTIA Network+ / Security+\n Key Competencies\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nProactive and detail-oriented approach\n$90,000 - $100,000\nThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
