Together, we are committed to innovating and simplifying the cryogenics industry while upholding our dedication to excellence.\nWe are currently seeking a Weld Coordinator to join our Production Team.\nAs a Weld Coordinator, you will perform a variety of job responsibilities, participating in exciting projects at the forefront of cryogenic innovation!\nThe Weld Coordinator facilitates all production in the cell, staging raw materials and parts for two to four welders to maximize weld time and ensure smooth workflow in accordance with the production schedule. The Welding Coordinator also inspects products during and after the production process to ensure they comply with the provided drawings and meet quality standards.\nTo thrive in this role, you'll need a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent attendance habits and the desire to work as a team are a must. Coming to work each day with a great work ethic and willingness to learn, you'll grow the skills necessary to succeed as a member of our Production Team.\nQualifications:\nA strong attention to detail\n\nThe ability to follow written procedures\n\nThe ability to conform to all established safety practices\n\nThe ability to lift 50 lbs.\n\nThe ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoop\n\nHigh school diploma (or equivalent) preferred\n\n1 year manufacturing experience preferred\n\nResponsibilities include:\nMoving raw material and parts to and from welders, leak check technicians, braiders, and wrappers\n\nHaving at least one job prepared for each welder to start when finished with the current job\n\nWorking with welders to determine proper sequence of assembly / welding for each IO\n\nIdentifying potential problems and errors with BOMs or Ios, and communicating with Zone Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure prompt resolution\n\nContacting Zone Leader for rework instruction as necessary\n\nFeeding inners into outers\n\nFeeding outers into spiral wrap after leak check and stretch\n\nWhile a welder is occupied, preparing the next job to be welded\n\nKeeping welders properly stocked with all needed supplies\n\nHand wrapping any areas required during final weld\n\nInspecting all products per Finished Goods Inspection Procedure specified on drawing\n\nMaintaining cell dashboard\n\nMoving finished products to the proper area for the next operation\n\nOther duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Zone Leader\n\nThis is a production role located in Brazil, Indiana.\nAbout Crane\nCrane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products.
