Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics!\nEssential Functions:\nAssemble intricate and expansive products with many close-fitting components which require considerable fitting, aligning and adjusting to very close tolerances.\nPerform all operations necessary for the completion of assembly of product.\nPerform braze and solder operations including preliminary sequences such as, but not limited to, cut and strip wires, application of stop-off, machine set-up.\nPerform stack load verification of assembled and partially assembled pumps.\nMix paint, lacquer, enamel, etc., to required consistency and apply as specified.\nAdvise supervision of any measuring equipment in need of calibration and remove the equipment to make available for calibration as required.\nMust possess common hand tools necessary to perform job.\nPerform minor deburr work as required.\nClean and move parts as necessary.\nPass an annual eye exam. \nResponsible for product verification and process control including using necessary measuring devices. \nKeep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes.\nRotate to different workstations within the cell. \nPerform required rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance per Appendix A, and appropriate safety checks in the cell. \nDocument all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures.\nInspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step in the cell.\nComplete all required paperwork.\nEnsure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked prior to movement.\nWork with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required.\nComplete all required documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR’s, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets.\nPerform other duties as assigned by department supervisor.\nUtilize computers to access various databases. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma;\nPrior assembly experience preferred.\nMust have basic reading and writing skills\nRequires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages. \nMust be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, test procedures, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions;\nAdequate mechanical aptitude.\nRequires prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and stretching;\nRequires lifting parts, fixtures, and containers up to 50 pounds up to a height of 3 feet;\nMust be able to work with assorted hand tools in close quarters and awkward positions with firm grip;\nMust be able to operate manual arbor press with pulling force up to 200 pounds;\nRequires lifting parts and fixtures weighing up to 70 pounds and carry load 3 feet.\n Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
