Development will include process improvement and optimization, production documentation, and continuous improvement.\nPrinciple Responsibilities:\n· Develop product and process knowledge to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.\n· Assist in creating and revising manufacturing travelers, routers, and work instructions to improve process accuracy and efficiency.\n· Support the evaluation and disposition of non-conforming materials, products, and equipment in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.\n· Collaborating with Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.\n· Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities to resolve product and process failures.\n· Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.\n· Contribute to scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects through process optimization and data-driven problem solving.\nQualifications/Experience:\nWorking toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering.\nBasic understanding of engineering principles and some exposure to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. \nKnowledge of engineering fundamentals and experience to solve testing problems involving interface with other existing equipment considering human engineering aspects.\nAbility to perform engineering calculations pertinent to product development and testing.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPrior experience with SolidWorks.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
