Technician\n\nLocation: Oyo\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\nResponsible for conducting laboratory and field tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved procedures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform field tests, including soil compaction, slump tests, and concrete sampling.\nMonitor material quality and report non-conformities to the Quality Control Engineer.\nCollect, prepare, and test material samples in accordance with approved standards.\nCalibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment.\nCoordinate with site engineers and the QA/QC team to resolve material quality issues.\nConduct tests on soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials.\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.\nRecord test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records.\n\nRequirements\n\nOND, HND, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.\nFamiliarity with relevant ASTM, BS, or other applicable construction testing standards.\nPractical knowledge of soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt testing procedures.\n2–5 years of relevant experience in construction materials testing.\nAbility to prepare technical
