They will manage vendor communication, sample tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams. Additionally, they will maintain accurate development files, timelines, and product specifications to ensure smooth execution.This is an on-site position based out of our Hudson Grace office in Sausalito, CA. \n\nA day in the life as a Hudson Grace Product Development Coordinator...\nProduct Development:\nSupport the development of new products from initial concept through final production\nMaintain product development calendars, timelines, and critical path schedules\n\nCreate and maintain detailed product specifications, product information, and development files\n\nCoordinate samples, prototypes, color approvals, finishes, materials, packaging, and revisions\n\nTrack product changes and communicate updates to internal teams and vendors\n\nReview samples for accuracy, quality, construction, color, finish, and overall aesthetic\n\nAssist with costing, pricing, minimum order quantities, and margin analysis\n\nHelp identify and resolve product development issues and production challenges\n\nVendor & Factory Coordination:\nCommunicate regularly with domestic and international vendors and manufacturers\n\nRequest samples, quotes, specifications, and production updates\n\nFollow up on outstanding approvals, samples, and deadlines\n\nMaintain organized vendor records and product documentation\n\nAssist with negotiating product details, costs, lead times, and production requirements as needed\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nPartner with Design and Merchandising teams to translate creative concepts into commercially viable products\n\nCollaborate with Sourcing, Quality, Operations, and Production teams to ensure smooth product execution\n\nCommunicate product status, delays, and critical issues clearly to stakeholders\n\nParticipate in product review meetings and sample evaluations\n\nProduct Data & Organization:\nMaintain accurate product information across internal systems and development tools\n\nOrganize product images, samples, specifications, CADs, drawings, and other development materials.\n\nEnsure all product details are accurate and up to date before products move into production.\n\nAssist with seasonal line reviews and product assortment preparation.\n\nWhat you'll bring to the table...\nA proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\n\nStrong organizational and project-management skills with exceptional attention to detail\n\nStrong interest and understanding of interior design, home furnishings, and luxury lifestyle products\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify issues\n\nAbility to review product samples critically and communicate design or quality changes clearly\n\nWe'd love to hear from you if you have…\n2 years of experience in product development, merchandising, sourcing, production, or a related field, preferably within home, furniture, tabletop, textiles, or luxury consumer goods\n\nBFA or BS in related design field preferred\n\nExperience in merchandising and/or related experience\n\nExperience with product lifecycle management, ERP, or product information systems a plus\n\nProficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Google Sheets)\n\nExperience with Adobe Photoshop\n\nEuromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as “the Company”.
