From the day we opened our first store in Chicago in 1962 to the digital innovations that engage millions of customers today, our iconic brand is nearly 60 years in the making-and our story is still unfolding.\nResponsible for moving trailers to different dock doors and locations within the Distribution Center yard.A day in the life as a Yard Driver...\nOperates Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on non-public roads or in truck yards to move trailers to/from dock and parking locations\nMaintains the accuracy and integrity of the trailer yard through meticulous attention to detail and daily yard audits\nOperates a spotter truck, moving trailers between trailer yard and dock doors, and logging all trailer moves to maintain accurate yard inventory\nCommunicates equipment issues with the warehouse management team\nMoves pallets, wrap skids and unloads and loads trailers as needed\nCleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas\nRotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business\nParticipates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position\nPerforms all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals.\nWhat you'll bring to the table\nGood communication skills\nAbility to work in a team environment \nAttention to detail\nPossess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position\nMaintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals\nBasic English Language proficiency preferred \nWe'd love to hear from you if you have...\nNo experience required\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred\nEuromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as “the Company”.
