About the Opportunity

We are seeking a senior building professional to help lead and grow our field validation capability. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership, stakeholder influence and business growth in a fast-evolving environment. Operating with the agility of a start-up and backed by a global industry leader, you'll play a key role in shaping processes, driving service excellence and strengthening insurer and supplier partnerships.

As a senior technical leader, you will oversee complex building assessments, tender validation and repair cost reviews while mentoring others, improving operational performance and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in insurance building, construction or repair validation
  • Strong expertise in domestic and commercial scoping and estimating
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and mentor others
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen
  • Excellent report writing, communication and organisational skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex building assessments, tender reviews and repair validations
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex field validation claims
  • Facilitate tender inspections and validate scopes, costs and contractor submissions
  • Prepare detailed scopes, estimates and technical reports
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive accountability across builder networks
  • Ensure compliance with technical, commercial and service delivery standards
  • Partner with insurers and stakeholders to improve customer and business outcomes
  • Support business growth, capability development and operational excellence
