This role will lead the design and execution of process systems for liquid products such as beverages, dairy, sauces, and other fluid-based consumables.\nYou’ll be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of your assigned systems or unit operations, while collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.\nThis position can be hybrid with up to 50% travel. \nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of liquid processing systems for food and beverage manufacturing facilities.\nTranslate client requirements into process design scope and deliverables.\nManage and coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and construction partners.\nOversee technical deliverables such as P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment specifications, and process narratives.\nSupport and lead activities such as:Vendor package management and technical bid evaluations\nFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT)\nRisk assessments (HAZOP, HACCP)\n3D model reviews and coordination\nCommissioning and startup support\n\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development initiatives.\n Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (ABET-accredited)\n 5+ years of experience in process engineering for liquid food or beverage systems, specifically in confectionary, pet food, fermentation, dairy, dressings and sauces.\nStrong understanding of sanitary design, CIP systems, and fluid handling equipment\nExcellent communication and project coordination skills\nFamiliarity with industry codes and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, 3-A)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPE or EIT certification\nExperience with construction support (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)\nHands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting liquid process systems\nKnowledge of automation and control systems for liquid processes\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
