This person will work closely with CRB project discipline leads and the VDC Regional Manager on internal VDC standardization. Projects will consist of both existing building renovations and new construction. Project sizes will vary and require documentation for various disciplines including but not limited to Architecture, Electrical, Fire Protection, HVAC, Piping (Mechanical, Process, Plumbing) and Structural. This person should also have a passion for VDC innovations and emerging technologies in the AEC industry.\nResponsibilities\nPerform VDC functions for the team on all projects, and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants on VDC standards\nSetup, manage, and maintain digital delivery platforms, project models, and associated documentation\nSupport multidisciplinary model review meetings throughout the project lifecycle\nAssist with training, implementation, and support of VDC tools and processes for the project team\nWork with the project teams to determine the appropriate drawing scale(s), sheet layouts for each discipline, and establish building breakdown and match lines for floor plans where applicable\nMonitor and audit project VDC standard compliance\nAssist project team with identifying conflicts, incomplete or ambiguous design deliverables\nAssist project team with converting vendor equipment into Revit.\nAssist in assembly, review, and transmittal of all drawings for package issues\nDevelop and maintain positive customer/client relationships\nParticipate in VDC related webinars and conferences to stay informed and share opportunities for technology innovation within the organization\n Minimum Qualifications\nAssociates degree in Computer Aided Design, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent\nMinimum of two years of experience in an EPC firm setting or construction industry equivalency\nAdditional Qualifications\nProficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other design authoring platforms is required\nKnowledge of contractual delivery methods for design and construction projects\nKnowledge of supporting VDC productivity tools is preferred (Revit add-ins, Dynamo, Bluebeam, etc.)\nExperience with 3D collaboration processes and tools is preferred (BIM360/ACC suite, Assemble, clash tracking, laser scanning, iConstruct, model-based point layout, AR/VR)\nKnowledge of industry standard VDC documentation is preferred (BEP, BIMForum, etc.)\nDemonstrates good organizational and communication skills\nExperience with AutoCAD Plant 3D is preferred\nUnderstanding of building design and construction sequencing is preferred\nAbility to travel to construction project sites\nProficient in Microsoft Office\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
