Drive requirements elicitation process for work efforts of all size and complexity. Work in an indirect leadership capacity to influence collaboration, communication and outcomes of various initiatives. Lead work on all phases of systems analysis up to the enterprise level of the organization's business processes and systems. Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nServe as a key liaison between the Technology Delivery team and LOBs. \nCollaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions. \nWork closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies. \nEstablish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities. \nFacilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with appropriate stakeholders to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements \nPerform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions. \nPrepare user interface diagrams, business process and workflow diagrams in support of small work requests (enhancements) or large scale project implementations. \nUnderstand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed. \nDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements. \nAssist/coordinate pre-planning activities (e.g. business case, project estimate, project risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, draft charter). \nFacilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates on in-flight initiatives. \nAttend business unit management meetings, as needed. \nBecome deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects. \nObserve and ensure strict adherence to all Technology and CRC Group policies and standards (e.g. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management). \nCoach and mentor junior level Business Analysts. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor degree or equivalent experience to include six years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development \nFour years of experience as a business analyst or related role/experience, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management, Relationship Management, Business Operations, Quality \nManagement Experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements \nExperience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies \nAbility to interact with management, business staff, Engineering and QA personnel in order to gather, compile and exchange information on work requests/project requirements and negotiate disputes effectively \nStrong presentation, verbal and written skills \nAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints \nAbility to effectively interface with staff at all levels and resolve conflicts \nExceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment \nExcellent facilitation and organizational skills \nStrong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills \nDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products\nUnderstand core systems, applications and technical platforms\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in the insurance or financial services industry\nExperience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master\nAn understanding of current trends in technology\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical data \nProject Management Institute (PMI) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification \nProficient in the use of Microsoft Visio \nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: At CRC Group, we're committed to supporting every aspect of teammates' well-being - physical, emotional, financial, social, and professional.
