Acts as a subject matter expert for workflow efficiency, systems utilization, and compliance adherence, assisting underwriters in maintaining service standards and client satisfaction.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nCoordinate the preparation, review, and submission of underwriting documentation. \nEnsure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and market guidelines. \nAnalyze and interpret underwriting data to support decision-making processes. \nServe as a point of contact for inquiries related to underwriting procedures and systems. \nMonitor and improve operational workflows for accuracy and efficiency. \nAssist underwriters in evaluating risk information and compiling necessary information from multiple sources. \nPrepare reports and maintain records to support audit and compliance activities. \nProvide training and mentoring to junior team members on systems, processes, and procedures.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. \n3+ years of experience in underwriting operations, support functions, or insurance administrative roles. \nExposure to commercial or specialty insurance lines is highly preferred. \nExperience working with underwriting systems, policy administration platforms, and reporting tools.\nCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS\nChartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred. \nAssociate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) or equivalent designation preferred. \nNo mandatory licensing unless required by local regulations.\nFUNCTIONAL SKILLS\nUnderwriting process knowledge and insurance product familiarity. \nAnalytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating complex data. \nAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation handling. \nProficiency in policy administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite. \nAbility to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. \nOrganizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: At CRC Group, we're committed to supporting every aspect of teammates' well-being - physical, emotional, financial, social, and professional.
