This role supports new and renewal production by underwriting business, solving coverage issues, and ensuring compliance with internal and carrier standards. The core function of this role centers on efficient underwriting execution, risk evaluation, and supporting business growth within defined authority and pricing parameters.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFollowingis a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nUnderwrite new and renewal business within binding authority and brokerage markets, including evaluating risk,determiningterms, and placing coveragein accordance withcarrier and company guidelines\n\nManage the underwriting process end-to-end, including submissions, quoting, binding, and policy confirmation within established authority levels\n\nNegotiate coverage terms with carriers, including pricing, structures, and policy provisions, while ensuring alignment with underwriting strategy\n\nResolve underwriting and coverage issues by analyzing risk characteristics and applyingappropriate solutionsfor retail agents\n\nMonitor assigned accounts to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and carrier underwriting guidelines\n\nSupport production goals by driving new and renewal business activity andmaintainingefficient workflow execution in a structured environment\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,skilland/or ability required.
