In this experienced individual contributor role, you will lead workstreams and projects, help shape product direction in partnership with the business, and work closely with engineering and design to deliver roadmap items. Candidates must reside in the Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX area and be willing to be in the CRC office 4 days per week.\nResponsibilities\nStrategy and Discovery\nContribute to roadmap prioritization in partnership with product leadership and business stakeholders\nDistill complex insurance business needs into focused, high-impact technical strategies\nDesign and recommend complete solutions to loosely defined business challenges\nEvaluate opportunities using user feedback, market insight, and performance data\nFacilitate working sessions and whiteboarding to shape ideas, flows, and solutions\nPresent product performance, KPIs, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling way\nDelivery and Execution\nLead product workstreams and projects from definition through delivery, coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams\nOwn and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria\nPartner daily with engineering and design to deliver roadmap items on time and with quality\nLead sprint planning, refinement, and review activities\nManage timelines, dependencies, scope, and risks, and communicate changes proactively\nDevelop and document new procedures and ways of working that improve controls, consistency, and delivery quality\nApply AI tools to everyday product work, such as drafting requirements, synthesizing feedback, analyzing data, and streamlining documentation\nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong relationships across business, technology, and operations teams, as well as external vendors and partners\nGather requirements, manage expectations, and align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs\nKeep stakeholders informed with consistent, transparent updates\nData and Measurement\nDefine success metrics for features and initiatives\nBuild and maintain dashboards that track product KPIs\nUse analytics, user research, and feedback to validate decisions and drive iteration\nReport on outcomes and recommend next steps\nRequired Qualifications\n5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar role\n4 years of experience in the insurance industry (wholesale, brokerage, carrier, MGA, or insurtech), with working knowledge of workflows such as submissions, quoting, binding, or policy administration\nDeep understanding of product management and adjacent areas such as business analysis, technology delivery, and insurance operations\nStrong communication skills, including presenting clearly and persuasively, explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences and business needs to engineers.\nProven ability to design solutions to ambiguous or undefined problems\nAI-savvy, with a habit of using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) in day-to-day product tasks such as drafting stories or synthesizing customer feedback\nProven ability to work in both strategic and execution-focused modes\nHands-on experience with a ticketing system (Jira or Azure DevOps), a whiteboarding tool (Miro or Figma), and an analytics tool, including building dashboards and reporting on product KPIs\nA data-driven approach, using user feedback or product metrics to guide decisions\nDemonstrated experience leading workstreams, managing stakeholders and timelines, and presenting metrics to leadership\nAbility to build relationships and manage competing interests across multiple teams, including external vendors\nDetail-oriented and collaborative, with a track record of working well across engineering, design, and business teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Salesforce or another CRM platform\nExperience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methods\nExperience with AI-native engineering practices\nProduct management or Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO)\nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: At CRC Group, we're committed to supporting every aspect of teammates' well-being - physical, emotional, financial, social, and professional.
