Ensures accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements while supporting the underwriting process to optimize turnaround and service quality.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nAssist underwriters in the preparation, issuance, and review of quotes, binders, and policy documents. \nCollect, verify, and organize underwriting data, documentation, and supporting materials. \nPerform data entry and maintain underwriting systems, tables, and files to ensure accurate recordkeeping. \nMonitor underwriting mailboxes, respond to routine inquiries, and follow up on outstanding items from brokers and clients. \nCoordinate with various internal teams, including operations and compliance, to resolve processing issues. \nSupport adherence to underwriting guidelines and assist with audit and quality control activities.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
