This role partners directly with underwriting leadership to understand their reporting and data needs, translates those needs into clear requirements for the data and engineering teams, and follows the work through delivery. The role can span multiple verticals depending on size and complexity.Job Description\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFollowingis a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nMeet regularly with underwriting teams to understand businessobjectives, reporting priorities, and evolving data needs.\n\nCapture and document business requirements in clear, unambiguous language that reporting and engineering teams canbuild fromdirectly.\n\nPartner with the data warehouse and reporting teams to scope, prioritize, andestablishwork.\n\nServe as the translator between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring each side understands the other’s constraints and intent.\n\nManage backlog items and development boards;participatein agile ceremonies and delivery cadence.\n\nValidate delivered reporting and data outputs against original business intent and drive adoption within the vertical.\n\nApply critical thinking as new and expansionary products come into scope,identifyingdownstream data and reporting implications.\n\nBuild andmaintaintrusted working relationships with division owners and vertical leadership.\n\nLocation: This role is remote for Eastern, Central or Mountain time zones.\nEducation and Experience\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,skilland/or abilityrequired. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, ora relatedfield, or equivalent work experience.\n\n4+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership.\n\nDemonstrated experience gathering requirements and delivering alongside data warehouse, BI, or reporting teams.\n\nFamiliarity with insurance industry concepts and terminology - particularly underwriting - is strongly preferred.\n\nExperience working in an agile environment using development boards or ticketing systems.\n\nFunctional Skills\nStrong analytical ability - able to take an ambiguous businessaskand work it down to the underlying data need.\n\nClear written communication, especially in translating business needs into written requirements.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple verticals.\n\nAbility to build professional relationships with division owners and senior business stakeholders.\n\nComfort with agile delivery practices and backlog management.\n\nWorking familiarity with reporting and BI tooling and core data warehouse concepts.\n\nPreferred Skills\nCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.\n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.\n\nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: At CRC Group, we're committed to supporting every aspect of teammates' well-being - physical, emotional, financial, social, and professional.
