The HR Coordinator serves as first point of contact and key resource for junior employees within Sports in North America.\nEssential Functions:\n Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding processes for employees in coordination with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional new hire experience\nHandle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews including entering data into Workday, communicating with new hire before their first day, completing and verifying Form I-9, etc\nManage employment-related inquiries from employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person\nDevelop and execute positive employee relations initiatives; coordinate check-ins, employee engagement initiatives, workshops, etc.; foster and maintain quality relationships with all hourly employees in assigned client groups\n Participate in communication planning for all hourly employees, including change management initiatives\nRequirements:\nBachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience\nMinimum 1-2 years of human resources experience in a corporate environment\nMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management\nPassionate about being of service, working collaboratively, and creating great experiences for our employees\nMust be extremely proactive and able to easily shift priorities\nAbility to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment\nDetailed with strong organization skills\nTeam player with a high sense of urgency\nAbility to interact with all levels of the organization\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience working in a sports, entertainment, or media company, preferred\nWorkday experience a plus\nLocation\nThis role will be on-site, located in our New York office.\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this position is as follows:\nNew York, NY - $26.00/hr - $30.00/hr\nThis position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus.
