The person in this position will own frontend architecture, code quality, and delivery standards while actively contributing to development, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, UX, backend, and clients, to deliver scalable, high-performance user experiences.\n\nResponsibilities: \nLead architecture and development efforts on front-end projects, ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable code.\nDefine and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.\nEnsure applications meet performance, security, accessibility, and scalability standards.\nOversee React version upgrades and framework-related updates for projects as needed.\nConduct code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor junior developers.\nConvert UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality React-based interfaces.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.\nDefine and enforce frontend testing strategies, including unit, integration, and component testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent frameworks.\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nWork directly with clients on technical discussions and issue resolution.\nStay informed about evolving front-end technologies and industry best practices.\nContribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong expertise in integrating RESTful APIs.\nStrong proficiency in React.js (functional components, hooks, context, performance optimisation), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 CSS, and styling (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, or similar).\nHands-on experience with NPM/Yarn.\nExperience with state management libraries such as Redux and Zustand.\nExperience with Next.js or similar React frameworks is a plus.\nExperience with Git and standard version control workflows.\nExperience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor AI to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.\nProven experience leading front-end teams or acting as a technical lead, including code reviews, technical decision-making, and mentoring developers.\nGood understanding of other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as Angular and Vue.js, with the ability to review code, guide teams, and support projects beyond React.\nExposure to micro-frontend architectures and cloud-hosted frontend deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong plus.\n\nPersonal Skills: \nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nExcellent communication skills to articulate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to identify alternatives and find an optimal way to implement a solution.\nAbility to apply logic in identifying patterns, structures, and formats, and organising ideas to validate proposed solutions.\nAbility to quickly learn new concepts and software.\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to manage time across multiple tasks and juggle competing deadlines.\n\nEducation and Work Experience: \nThe candidate should have over 8 years of working experience or an equivalent combination of education
