The product connects to each client’s data sources, applies proven performance-management frameworks, and highlights where the business stands, which conversations to hold at each level of the organization, and which actions to take. The core product is already built, and each client is served by a small pod made up of a product lead and two engineers working alongside the firm’s consultants. As one of the two engineers in the pod, you will work on site with a client based in Waltham, MA, Cincinnati, OH, or Dallas, TX, turning business questions into reliable data feeds. Expect messy, undocumented systems and a fast feedback loop with the people using what you build.\nTasks and Deliverables\nIntegrate client data sources, including warehouses, ERP, CRM, operational systems, and APIs, into the product.\nWrite and tune SQL queries and data pipelines that turn raw client data into reliable metrics.\nExtend the product’s frontend and backend to meet client-specific needs.\nUse the product’s agent and SDK tooling to configure and extend client workflows.\nDebug data quality issues on site with client IT teams and data owners.\nCollaborate closely with the product manager and consultants to deliver client customizations.\nRequirements\n4+ years of full-stack engineering experience with React and Node.js in production.\nProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Redux.\nStrong SQL skills and hands-on data integration experience (ETL/ELT, APIs, data warehouses).\nExperience building with LLMs or agent frameworks, including prompting, tool use, and evaluation.\nExperience working directly with customers or end users, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to join an unfamiliar codebase and ship within the first week.\nNice to Have\nPrevious experience in a forward-deployed, solutions, or consulting engineering role.\nExperience with Snowflake, dbt, or a similar modern data stack.\nExperience with healthcare or medical services data, such as EHR, claims, scheduling, or revenue cycle, is a strong plus.\nFamiliarity with HIPAA-aware data handling.\nEngagement Highlights\n3 to 6 month
