# Cyber Security Engineer

Introduction We are seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen the security posture of our network infrastructure and internal systems. You will work closely with network engineering, IT, and DevOps teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement defences, and respond to incidents playing a key role in keeping the organisation and its customers secure. Duties & Responsibilities Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents and anomalies Design, implement, and maintain security controls across network infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation) Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with relevant teams Perform security reviews of new network deployments, architecture changes, and third-party integrations Develop and maintain incident response plans, and lead investigations when incidents occur Manage identity and access controls, including least-privilege policies and MFA enforcement Support compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS as applicable) through audits and documentation Keep up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities (CVEs), and industry best pr
