Position Summary

Credence has an immediate opening for a Program Manager- Program Integration at the senior level supporting AFLCMC/WAX at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The Plans and Programs Division supports the modernization and sustainment of Fighter and Advanced Aircraft (F&AA) capabilities for the U.S. Air Force and coalition partners. The division manages capability planning, technology integration, program oversight, and cross-functional processes-including airworthiness, configuration management, system safety, and cybersecurity-from concept through fielding. It also develops future capability roadmaps in collaboration with Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Apply program management expertise to analyze, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate solutions for F/B portfolio initiatives.
  • Provide expert recommendations and issue resolution across program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, test, security, information management, and contracting functions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with program offices, Government stakeholders, contractors, USAF AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, ACC, AFGSC, and higher headquarters in support of F/B capability plans and programs.
  • Represent F/B portfolio interests in Service Core Function activities and help shape science and technology investment decisions.
  • Analyze warfighter requirements with ACC and AFGSC and advise Capability Planning leadership on mission-critical capability needs.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and present plan status materials for IPTs, PMRs, TIMs, working groups, conferences, and senior-level briefings.
  • Identify capability needs and develop requirements for potential materiel solutions through early systems engineering, test strategy, maturity assessments, lifecycle analysis, cost estimates, and acquisition intelligence engagement.
  • Evaluate emerging capability needs, technology maturity, risk drivers, and life cycle planning considerations from pre-concept through disposal.
  • Apply acquisition policy expertise, including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate with IPTs and cross-functional stakeholders to align warfighter capability needs with materiel solution planning.
  • Serve as liaison between user requirements and engineering activities; support TIMs, working groups, and Collaborative Capability Team activities.
  • Conduct tradeoff analyses and apply science and technology principles to identify future capability opportunities and lifecycle cost efficiencies.
  • Provide capability planning support for technology solutions, strategy, cost savings, sustainment, and official records management in accordance with AFI 33-322.
  • Support Directorate Commander’s Programs, including General Officer-level issue preparation, coordination, and briefings.
  • Manage high-visibility staff actions, including IG inspections, Emergency Management, Congressional and GAO inquiries, special programs, taskers, and senior-leader responses.

Requirements

  • Must have an active or current Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoW/DoD
  • OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoW/DoD
  • OR, fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) of which must be in the DoW/DoD.
  • USAF MAJCOM expertise preferred, ideally at HQ USAF, HQ ACC, or HQ AFGSC, with understanding of broad warfighter requirements.
  • Motivated, organized, responsive, and able to quickly learn Directorate processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to track actions, coordinate across organizations, and prepare senior leaders for briefings and responses.
  • Ideal candidate: proactive program manager with strong staff/action-officer skills, writing and briefing ability, and comfort coordinating sensitive or high-visibility actions for senior leadership.
