This role requires test execution for mission critical systems and the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into accurate, properly formatted manual test scripts that cover system requirements comprehensively. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and a testing team to validate business requirements, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution before deployment. The QA Analyst will be a team member in the testing strategy and implementation of all forms of testing to include functional, integration, performance, regression and security. This position is based in Credence’s corporate offices located in Tyson’s Corner, VA.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop clear, concise, and logically structured manual test scripts that can be understood and executed by users regardless of their technical knowledge or familiarity with the system.\nClearly document prerequisites, test data, user roles, navigation steps, expected results, and pass/fail criteria.\nMaintain document control within SharePoint and Microsoft Word\nExecute manual test scripts, document results, capture evidence, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.\nAct as a member of a project team responsible for testing requirements and providing technical guidance concerning the testing strategy, implementation in unit and performance/regression testing of the application\nMaintain traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and defects.\nContribute to the performance of functional, regression, integration, performance, and compliance testing\nFollow testing strategy and processes, work with tester team members, and contribute to process improvement\nLog, track, and retest bugs and defects in Jira\nCollaborate with developers to clarify issues, troubleshoot, and verify fixes\nDesign and execute IT software tests and evaluating results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations\nDesign and prepare all required test data\nReview test results and evaluate for conformance to design\nCollaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders\nContribute to user tester guides for various testing audiences\nBe able to work independently and as part of a team, working closely with development teams, DevOps, UI/UX designers, and business analysts\nRequirements\nMust be clearable for DoD Public Trust or higher\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field\nMinimum of 5 years of software testing experience\nExperience with Jira, test case design, test planning, defect management, API testing, and performance testing\nExperience with Scrum and SAFe agile frameworks\nRelevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.\nDoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I\nAbility to work and produce results in an Agile and fast-paced environment with dynamic deadlines\nExceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex system processes in writing\nNice to Have:\nFamiliarity with basic ServiceNow navigation and general ServiceNow module concepts\nExisting DoD Public Trust\nFamiliarity with DLA, DoD, or government project testing standards\nExperience with automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow\nKnowledge of APIs, JSON, and flat file data exchange\nUnderstanding of security and compliance testing\nSalary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
