We encourage all employees to expand beyond their boundaries, dive into important world-changing Federal challenges.\nPosition Summary\nCredence has an immediate need for a Scrum Master with strong experience to support high-performing, cross-functional teams delivering value through Agile practices - including teams building and integrating AI/ML capabilities. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Jira expertise who can guide teams in adhering to established workflows while continuously improving how work flows through the system.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below\nGuides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver a high-quality product to the client.\nImproves efficiency by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques amongst the team.\nResponsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.\nCoaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.\nWorks with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support product teams in delivery updated and new functionality to the client.\nResolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.\nContributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.\nFacilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Feature Review, Product Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospective.\nServes as a servant leader to the Scrum Team\nServes as a source of institutional knowledge to the START team to troubleshoot or aid in completing a root cause analysis.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner, and demonstrated experience performing business analysis (requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation) \nStrong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles \nProven ability to gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria \nExemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles\nOutstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills\nKnowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices\nFamiliarity with SAFe methodologies (certification a plus, not required) \nAdept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques\nAdvanced proficiency with Jira, including workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting \nExperience supporting PI Planning in a scaled or multi-team environment \nPlanning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams\nAn active Secret Security Clearance are required.\nSalary Range: $121,000 - $153,000 annually.
