This role serves as a technical lead responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining secure, scalable APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft, SAP integration technologies, and modern DevSecOps practices.\nThe ideal candidate has extensive experience developing enterprise-grade APIs, integrating complex business systems, modernizing legacy interfaces, and supporting mission-critical applications in large-scale enterprise or government environments.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise APIs and integration solutions.\nModernize legacy interfaces and data exchanges by implementing secure, reusable, and real-time API services.\nDevelop API solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.\nCreate and maintain API specifications using REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, and related technologies.\nDevelop data transformations, mappings, validation rules, and reusable integration components using DataWeave.\nIntegrate enterprise applications with SAP, databases, cloud services, SaaS platforms, and other internal and external systems.\nImplement API security controls including OAuth 2.0, JWT, PKI, client authentication, and role-based access control.\nDesign scalable and highly available solutions that support load balancing, resiliency, and enterprise performance requirements.\nCollaborate with architects, engineers, business analysts, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.\nSupport CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Maven, and ServiceNow.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, sprint planning, and solution design discussions.\nTroubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and support software releases and deployments.\nMentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across development teams.\nRequirements\nUS citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in software development, application programming, enterprise integration, or API development.\nExperience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise software solutions.\nExperience developing APIs and integrations using MuleSoft or a comparable middleware platform.\nExperience integrating enterprise systems, databases, web services, and cloud-based applications.\nExperience working in Agile software development environments.\nStrong understanding of application architecture, software design principles, and system integration patterns.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical efforts and mentor development teams.\nRelevant technical certification or equivalent professional experience.\nRequired Technical Skills\nMuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio\nRESTful and SOAP Web Services\nRAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, WSDL, and CSV\nDataWeave and API integration frameworks\nSQL and relational database technologies\nAPI-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns\nGit-based source control\nCI/CD and DevSecOps practices\nAgile software development methodologies\nTechnical documentation and system design\nPreferred Qualifications\nMuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Integration Architect certification\nExperience integrating SAP or other ERP platforms\nExperience modernizing legacy enterprise applications and interfaces\nExperience supporting federal government or highly regulated environments\nExperience with AWS GovCloud or secure cloud environments\nExperience with Jenkins, GitLab, ServiceNow, Postman, SoapUI, SonarQube, or MUnit\nUnderstanding of RMF, ATO, STIG, PKI, and cybersecurity compliance requirements\nExperience building high-availability and disaster recovery solutions\nSalary Range: $130,000-$150,000 annually.
