We encourage all employees to expand beyond their boundaries, dive into important world-changing Federal challenges.\nPosition Summary\nCredence has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that support business and IT operations. This role partners with stakeholders, system administrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications, workflows, and integrations while supporting platform modernization and process automation. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow development, Agile methodologies, and IT service management (ITSM) best practices.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:\nStay current with emerging technologies, ServiceNow platform capabilities, and industry best practices to support automation and modernization initiatives.\nDesign, develop, customize, and deploy ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and user interfaces to support business and operational requirements.\nCollaborate with ServiceNow administrators and technical teams to implement enhancements, resolve issues, and support platform configuration changes.\nPartner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.\nIdentify system deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and technical challenges, and recommend effective solutions.\nDevelop and maintain solutions that align with ServiceNow design patterns, development standards, and best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and reusability.\nEnsure development, testing, staging, sandbox, and production environments are properly configured, maintained, and consistent.\nSupport the establishment of reliable and repeatable development, deployment, and release management processes.\nProvide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance for ServiceNow applications and integrations.\nWork closely with Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and IT teams to support platform enhancements, implementations, and operational needs.\nDesign and develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms and applications.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet project objectives and client expectations.\nConduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers as needed.\nApply UI/UX requirements and best practices to enhance the user experience and usability of ServiceNow applications.\nUtilize version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices throughout the software development lifecycle.\nCreate, maintain, and update technical documentation, system configurations, and development artifacts in accordance with organizational standards.\nPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned.\nRequirements\nUS citizenship with Active Secret Clearance required. \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of experience in software development, including ServiceNow platform development.\nExperience designing and developing custom scoped applications within the ServiceNow platform.\nHands-on experience with ServiceNow Application Engine, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.\nExperience configuring, customizing, and extending ServiceNow Case Management and related platform modules.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.\nExperience developing post-MVP enhancements, including system configuration, development, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, and other web technologies used within the ServiceNow platform.\nExperience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.\nKnowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and web services.\nUnderstanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).\nExperience applying software design principles, architectural patterns, and development best practices to create scalable and maintainable solutions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nSalary Range: $141,000 - $185,000 annually.
