This role will be integral in providing insights that inform company decisions across several business functions including user acquisition, brand marketing, product development, finance, and operations. This is a great opportunity for you to join a growth stage company and contribute to the success of our products and the continual improvement of our user and customer experiences.\nResponsibilities:\nPartner with teams across the organization (user acquisition, product development, etc) to understand their analytics needs and produce dashboards and analytics solutions that allow them to execute more effectively\nMonitor performance trends and provide regular insights to stakeholders, flagging data discrepancies and business risks before they impact results\nBecome the subject matter expert on our profit drivers, unit economics, and campaign/funnel performance\nProactively identify data gaps and inconsistencies, working cross-functionally to enhance data quality and analytical depth\nWork with business leaders to define key metrics and build reporting to monitor performance along those metrics\nConduct in-depth investigative data analyses that lead to actionable insights, owning the entire process from ideation to execution to presentation of findings to stakeholders\nHelp structure A/B tests, establish goals and define instrumentation and logging requirements for tests and features\nBecome an expert on all aspects of Credible’s data and analytics infrastructure\nEducation and Experience:\nBA/BS in a quantitative field\n3+ years of work experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or in a highly analytical role\nExperience writing SQL queries and optimizing data models \nExperience leveraging visualization/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)\nExperience using Excel for analysis\nExperience with A/B and multivariate testing, which includes providing input into structuring experiments appropriately\nStrong grasp of statistics and experience conducting rigorous data analyses\nExperience using the command line and git repositories\nExperience with a scripting language (preferably Python) for data processing and analysis a plus\nExperience developing models and visualizations in Looker a plus\nExperience at an e-commerce or fintech company a plus\nMust have:\nAbility to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAn investigative spirit, high curiosity about how the business operates, and a drive for clear, responsive, proactive communication with stakeholders and partners, including the confidence to clarify requirements and push back constructively on requests\nComfortable conducting time-sensitive investigations and navigating high-pressure, quick-turnaround environments while juggling multiple priorities effectively\nA go-getter and highly motivated self-starter with strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision\nBig picture thinking combined with a love for diving into the details; anticipate business needs, proactively identify problems, and think critically about analyses with a business owner mindset\nPassion for spreading the value of data throughout the company and communicating insights to a broad audience with varying levels of technical expertise.\nExperience with business to consumer (B2C)\nWhy work at Credible?\nWe combine the intelligence, expertise, and confidence of a financial advisor with the approachability and honesty of a friend.
