Client Services Representatives perform a variety of account, correspondence, and client-support functions depending on their assigned team.\nWhat Does a Client Services Representative Do?\nClient Services Representatives support the day-to-day servicing of client accounts. Specific responsibilities vary based on team assignment, business needs, and experience.\nConsumer Correspondence & Account Processing\nReview and process consumer communications received through mail, email, text, and other channels. Determine the appropriate action based on established procedures, update account information, prepare responses, and ensure correspondence is handled accurately and timely.\nClient-Specific Account Processing\nSupport a designated client or group of accounts by completing required account-processing activities. This may include researching account information, processing validation-of-debt requests, preparing documentation, updating systems, and following specific client requirements and procedures.\nClient Support & Reporting\nMore experienced Client Services Representatives may be assigned directly to support a specific client. Responsibilities may include responding to client requests, preparing reports, coordinating deliverables, researching account questions, monitoring client-specific requirements, and working with internal departments to ensure client needs are met.\nWhat You'll Do\nReview, research, and process account information accurately and efficiently.\nProcess consumer correspondence received through mail, email, text, and other communication channels.\nResearch and process validation-of-debt requests and supporting documentation.\nUpdate account records and information within company systems.\nPrepare correspondence, reports, documentation, and other client deliverables.\nRespond to requests using established procedures, templates, and client-specific requirements.\nWork with Operations, Compliance, and other departments to research and resolve account or client requests.\nManage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines and quality expectations.\nFollow company, client, and regulatory requirements when handling account information.\nProtect confidential consumer and client information.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nStrong reading comprehension and written communication skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to research information and follow detailed procedures.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.\nComfortable learning and working in multiple computer systems.\nProficiency with email and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.\nAbility to use good judgment within established guidelines.\nAdministrative, data processing, financial services, accounts receivable, insurance, banking, medical billing, or similar experience is a plus.\nPrevious collections or client-support experience is helpful but not required.\nCandidates with previous experience may be considered for assignments involving more direct client support, reporting, and client-specific responsibilities.\nWhy Join Credit Control?\nCredit Control has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Collections for seven consecutive years.
