Unlike legacy systems, Collect is designed for the complexity of modern receivables processes, empowering accounts receivable teams to migrate away from manual processes and invest in the right escalation tactics, bringing more cash in faster - without admin headaches or the need to hire more staff.\nYour Role & Team\nThe Customer Collections Specialist plays a key role in delivering Collect Call Assist, a managed service within CreditorWatch Collect that helps businesses resolve overdue accounts, improve payment outcomes and strengthen cash flow.\nWorking on behalf of Collect customers, you will engage directly with their customers to facilitate payment conversations, follow up on outstanding invoices, manage disputes and capture critical account updates. You'll act as an extension of our customers' accounts receivable teams, helping them stay informed, prioritise actions and achieve better collections outcomes.\nIn this role, you'll manage a portfolio of accounts, navigate complex payment and dispute scenarios, and build trusted relationships through professional and solution-focused communication. You'll work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and collaborate closely with Product, Implementation and Sales teams, sharing insights that help improve the Collect Call Assist service and shape the future of the Collect platform.\nYou'll report directly to the Principal Product Manager in this role.\nPlease note, it's part-time (4 days) opportunity, offering hybrid working conditions out of our Sydney CBD Office.\nSome of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:\nConduct outbound collection calls and follow-up communications on behalf of CreditorWatch customers to recover outstanding invoices.\nBuild professional relationships with debtors while maintaining a customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.\nAccurately document call outcomes, payment commitments, disputes and account updates within internal systems.\nIdentify and escalate debtor disputes, billing issues and account queries to customers in a timely manner.\nManage a portfolio of customer accounts, prioritising activities to maximise collection outcomes.\nLiaise closely with customers to provide updates, share insights and ensure a high-quality service experience.\nCollaborate with Product, Implementation & Sales teams to improve processes and service delivery.\nProvide feedback and insights gathered from customers and debtors to help shape future product and service enhancements.\nContribute to the ongoing development and growth of CreditorWatch's Collects’s Collect Call Assist service.\nOur ideal candidate\nPrevious experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit control, customer service or a related role.\nStrong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and debtors over the phone.\nExcellent written communication and note-taking skills, with strong attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage difficult conversations professionally and confidently.\nExperience handling customer disputes, escalations or complex account queries.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively in a dynamic environment.\nA collaborative approach and willingness to work across multiple teams.\nA customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering positive outcomes.\nMore than just work\nKeep Active - All employees get a Fitness First Platinum gym membership.\nDaily Fuel - Barista-made coffee, breakfast, snacks, lunches and drinks on us - we got you!\nPhone Credits - We pay you $50 per month to put towards your plans - how good.\nWellness Days - Receive an additional day off each month.
