We want our members, and everyone in the UK to be able to better manage their finances and steer them away from high-cost, unregulated credit options.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a QA Analyst to join our Operational Risk team. This role can be based in either our London or Bengaluru office.\nReporting to the Operational Risk Manager, you’ll monitor, measure and analyse our key business processes to reduce risk and improve performance. You’ll run regular quality assurance reviews, make sure our reporting to the Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs) is accurate, and help the team spot and fix issues before they affect our members.\nThe ideal candidate is curious and detail-focused, comfortable working with data in Excel, and enjoys finding better ways of doing things.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver the Risk team’s processes against agreed SLAs, and suggest ways to improve our processes, tools or product so we keep members happy and help the business scale.\n\nCarry out regular QA reviews of key business processes in line with the QA schedule, investigating risks and opportunities and reporting clearly on cause, impact and any action needed.\n\nAnalyse and QA our credit portfolio to make sure we report accurately to the CRAs, making amendments and escalating discrepancies where needed.\n\nRespond to and resolve disputes raised through the CRAs within the required timeframes.\n\nSupport incident management, picking up tasks from your line manager and the Risk Management team.\n\nTake part in cross-functional projects that change or develop key business processes.\n\nBuild strong working relationships across the Risk team and the wider business, so issues and opportunities are dealt with quickly and the Risk team is seen as a helpful partner.\n\nKeep up to date with new initiatives and products in the industry.\n\nCover for your line manager when needed, including attending internal and external meetings on their behalf.\n\nWhat you'll need to succeed\nEssential\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in financial services.\n\nIntermediate Excel skills.\n\nGCSE Maths and English (or local equivalent qualification).\n\nExcellent written and spoken English.\n\nDesirable\nExperience with data manipulation and analysis.\n\nExperience in operational risk, quality assurance or a related role.\n\nBasic SQL.\n\nPersonal Attributes:\nCurious and analytical, with an eye for patterns and problems and the confidence to suggest solutions.\n\nA clear communicator who listens well, asks questions and explains things simply.\n\nOrganised and reliable, consistently meeting deadlines and following through on commitments.\n\nCollaborative and inclusive, building good relationships and valuing different perspectives.\n\nTakes ownership of your work, learns from mistakes and looks for ways to improve.\n\nAdaptable and resilient when priorities change.\nDon’t meet all the listed requirements?
