You will work closely with Internal AE team and working on customers supports to make sure the chip and systems are running issue-free on customer environment, and analyze customer system to provide clear debug instructions to the team. You will be responsible for assisting the Internal AE team verifying and validating post-silicon High-Speed SerDes Ethernet Linecard Products internally and on customer environment, including developing high efficiency Python Automation Scripts, testing and evaluating chip performance on various environments in system level, and implementing and improving SerDes Algorithm and Performance. You will need to cooperate with the Design Team, Production Team, and Firmware Team to make sure the chip is able to run under different conditions This position will be onsite at our San Jose, CA HQ. \nBase salary range is $80,000 - $133,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. Our technology powers the most reliable and energy-efficient connections around the world - and our team powers new products and markets that come next.\nResponsibilities\nSupport customers on internal chip and IP evaluations and demonstrations, and generate high-quality reports based on customer evaluations and testing results.\nUse test and debug scripts to analyze SerDes behavior in customer and internal environments, and analyze and debug high-speed systems across different speeds.\nPerform system-level verification and validation under different testing environments.\nWork with internal AE and design teams to generate stable firmware with SerDes algorithms.\nUnderstand SLT test scripts and work with the Production team to run large-quantity sample tests.\nQualifications\nBasic QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related major with one or more years of experience, and strong customer-facing skills.\nProficiency in Python, with the ability to understand and develop code within existing structures.\nBasic knowledge of DSP and digital design, and experience handling and running high-speed test equipment.\nTeam-oriented with strong analytical skills, self-driven with a desire to deliver beyond the scope of each job.\nStrong multitasking skills to handle a variety of requests.\n\nPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related major with three or more years of experience.\nExperience with C and firmware development, and familiarity with Git.\nKnowledge of Ethernet top level, including Retimer, Bitmux, MAC/PCS, and MACsec, is a plus.\nSkills in developing automation test scripts for link-up, training, and diagnostics are a plus.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with the ability to adapt to new generations of technologies, and a strong teamwork orientation and collaborative approach.\nAbout Credo\nCredo’s mission is to transform connectivity at scale through fast, reliable, and energy-efficient system solutions.
