Position : DevOps Analyst/Prod Support Engineer.
Location : Pune/ Bangalore, India.
We are looking for a DevOps Analyst/Prod Support Engineer with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, who is self-motivated, having a good understanding of ITIL processes and analytical and troubleshooting skills. The individual will be responsible for daily production support and incident management activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- The DevOps Analyst/Prod Support Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency, stability, and resiliency of production applications. This position acts as the first line of support for both business and IT teams.
- Production Support and Application Monitoring : Provide front line support to business and IT teams. Ensure production applications are operating optimally, addressing issues that may affect efficiency or stability. This involves constant monitoring and troubleshooting, particularly for Azure cloud applications.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, reduce downtime, and improve the overall reliability of application delivery.
- Incident Management and Troubleshooting : Provide round-the-clock support. Detect, analyze, and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks and deployment failures.
- System Monitoring and Reliability : Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools such as Dynatrace.
- Automation and Scripting : Write scripts to reduce manual intervention and streamline operations.
- Collaboration and Security : Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize workflows and ensure production systems are robust and protected.
- Disaster Recovery, Production Installs, and Maintenance Support : Participate in disaster recovery (DR) activities, support critical production installations, and scheduled weekend maintenance tasks.
- Shift Flexibility : Willingness to work shifts aligned with APAC or EMEA time zones.
Minimum Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in Java, Azure application support environment.
- Previous experience in DevOps.
Key Tech Skills :
- Java, Spring Boot, API, Apache Kafka, SQL/Snowflake.
- Azure Cloud (Kubernetes, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Blob storage, Azure static WebApps).
- Tools : Control-M, Service Now, Dynatrace, Confluence, ADO, CI/CD Tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- L2/L3 support experience.
- Good to have : Linux/Unix fundamentals, React JS, Terraform.
