Responsibilities\nSource and develop fabrics, trims, packaging materials, and garment manufacturing vendors as per seasonal and business requirements.\nBuild and maintain a strong network of mills, fabric suppliers, trim suppliers, printers, embroiderers, and garment manufacturers.\nConduct vendor evaluation based on quality, capacity, compliance, pricing, and lead times.\nNegotiate commercial terms, pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.\nObtain and compare quotations to achieve target costing and margin objectives.\nCoordinate with design, product development, merchandising, and production teams for sourcing requirements.\nManage fabric and trim developments including lab dips, strike-offs, sampling, and approvals.\nTrack raw material and production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries.\nResolve supplier-related issues involving quality, delays, shortages, and commercial disputes.\nDevelop alternate supplier sources to reduce risk and improve cost efficiency.\nMonitor market trends, fabric innovations, sustainable materials, and sourcing opportunities.\nMaintain sourcing database, supplier performance records, and cost benchmarking reports.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or related field.\nMinimum 7-10 years of experience in fabric sourcing, trims sourcing, vendor development, or apparel procurement.\nStrong knowledge of knitted and woven fabrics, garment construction, trims, printing, embroidery, and wash processes.\nGood understanding of costing, consumption, production planning, and supply chain management.\nStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and sourcing-related reporting.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience sourcing for men’s apparel categories such as T-shirts, polos, shirts, hoodies, joggers, cargos, and coordinates is preferred\nExisting network of fabric mills, trim suppliers, and garment manufacturers across India.\nExperience working with export house, buying house, fashion, D2C, streetwear, or lifestyle
