Ensuring he operators as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P’s:\nPurpose\nProcess\nPeople\nWhile building on our culture of:\nDoing it Right\nDoing it Safe\nDoing it Well\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSafety\nRead and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook - Doing it Safe\nEnsure a safe work environment is maintained \nEngage in the Safety Observation process\nEnsure a preventive maintenance tasks are completed one time and correctly \nEnsure all equipment is operating safely\nEnsure all line work and machine tasks are being completed in a safe manner\nEnsure a clean and organized workspace, and hold themselves to a high standard and lives the “leave work areas better than found them”.\nContinually seek out and remove forms of risk created by our equipment and equipment setup\nPeople\nProvide technical leadership and troubleshooting capabilities\nBe a leader in training for all other personnel at Crescent who will interact and or operate with equipment.\nRecognize to ensure each person feels appreciated for the value they provide\nLead people to encourage maximum performance and dedication\nProductivity\nPerform tasks associated with setup and preventative maintenance of the equipment\nEnsure all line setup are done correctly, safely and on time\nLook for and create Continuous improvement ideas\nProvide a first level of troubleshooting and machine diagnostic when equipment is not performing properly\nBe able to setup and operate any auxiliary equipment such as labelers and printers\nCommunicate issues and opportunities to the site Production Leader or Supervisors \nLead Equipment Changeovers\nQuality\nEnsure all equipment is operating in a manner that produces quality product\nCommunicate any suspected quality issues to the appropriate person\nParticipate in root cause analysis on quality issues and be part of corrective action development\nProvide consultation along with Quality leader and Ops leadership on all new builds to ensure “quality at the source” design.\nCustomer Value\nEnsure the proper care and use of equipment - Crescent and Customer owned equipment \nProvide real time support to customer trials, samples and visits \nFinancial \nBe knowledgeable of impact of equipment costs on Crescent\nUse equipment, support and other materials appropriately \nCultural Competencies\nDo It Right\nDoing what is right for our Customers, doing what is right for our Company and doing what is right for our People.
