Manage IT staff and contractors, budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance with corporate IT policies and industry regulations. Interface with corporate IT and other internal stakeholders.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPolicies, Processes and Procedures\nDevelop IT policies and processes and upon approval directs their implementation including procedures and controls covering all areas of IT functions so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality and cost-effective services. \nIT System Management\nReview project plans and coordinate project activities.\nDevelop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.\nDevelop computer information resources, provide data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.\nConsults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.\nCoordinates with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.\nOversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.\nMaintain the integrity and continual operation of all IT environments.\nEnsure the continual functioning of mission critical computer operations.\nMaintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.\nDevelop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans related to IT.\nResponsible for maintaining service levels for technical support to users.\nEvaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.\nOversee daily IT operations inclusive of servers, networks, CCTV, access control, radio, PAGA, and telephony.\nEnsure high availability IT service performance and maintain defined SLAs.\nProduce technical specifications, RFPs, and evaluate/select vendors and contractors.\nManage IT projects from planning through commissioning.\nCoordinate incident response and forensic investigation for cyber security and IT incidents.\nLeadership, Training and Development\nEnsure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the IT department team -
