They ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment requests, resolve coding and payment discrepancies, and maintain productive relationships with vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nOnboard new vendors, including validating required documentation\nReview and process invoices and manual payment requests in OpenInvoice\nRespond to vendor and internal questions about invoice status and payments in a timely manner\nResolve routine invoice coding and payment exceptions\nEscalate complex, recurring or unresolved issues to Supervisor or Senior AP Specialist\nReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies\nIdentify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements\nPerform additional accounts payable duties and special projects assigned\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of three years of Accounts Payable experience\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, PivotTables, and formulas\nPreferred Qualifications\nOil and gas industry experience\nSAP and OpenInvoice experience\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\nDemonstrates accountability and follows assigned items through resolution\nStrong attention to detail\nEffectively prioritizes a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines\nMaintains established productivity, accuracy, availability, and response-time standards in both office and remote-work settings\nCrescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
