Through disciplined and accretive investments, we have successfully tripled the size of our company since going public in December 2021 while maintaining a strong balance sheet.\nThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily field construction activities supporting oil and gas operations throughout Crescent’s West Texas assets. This position provides hands-on leadership to company personnel and contractors to ensure construction and infrastructure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, engineering specifications, and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.\nThe Construction Superintendent serves as the primary field point of contact for assigned work and partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), landowners, and third-party contractors. The role requires strong field judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple people, projects and changing priorities in an active operating environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate daily field construction activities involving production facilities, pipelines and flowlines, tank batteries, gathering systems, roads, locations, utilities, and related infrastructure.\nDirect and monitor contractors and company personnel to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, scopes of work, specifications, procedures, and company expectations.\nConduct or participate in pre-job meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), tailgate meetings, site inspections, and other required safety activities before and during work.\nVerify that crews understand the scope of work, site hazards, required permits, and applicable safety and environmental controls before work begins.\nCoordinate labor, equipment, materials, vendors, inspections, and site access to support project schedules and minimize operational interruptions.\nReview construction drawings, site plans, work packages, and engineering specifications; identify field conflicts or constructability concerns and communicate recommended solutions.\nMonitor workmanship, productivity, material usage, and project progress, and promptly address safety, quality, schedule, or performance concerns.\nInspect completed work to confirm it meets company standards, design requirements, and applicable codes before turnover to Operations.\nCoordinate tie-ins, shutdowns, line locates, excavation activities, pressure testing, commissioning support, and other work affecting active operations.\nEnsure compliance with company requirements related to excavation, confined space entry, hot work, lockout/tagout, line breaking, lifting and rigging, and other high-risk work.\nPartner with HSE personnel to reinforce safe work practices, stop unsafe work when necessary, and ensure incidents, near misses, spills, and hazards are reported and addressed promptly.\nSupport environmental compliance, including spill prevention, waste handling, site restoration, erosion control, and protection of landowner property.\nEnsure field activities comply with applicable in-basin requirements, land-use conditions, and permits\nTrack daily work activities, contractor hours, equipment usage, materials, field changes, project status, and other required documentation.\nReview field tickets, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and alignment with completed work and approved scope.\nCommunicate project status, delays, cost concerns, and resource needs to management and other stakeholders.\nMaintain positive working relationships with Operations, Engineering, contractors, vendors, landowners, and regulatory representatives.\nAssist with contractor selection, onboarding, performance evaluation, and enforcement of company expectations.\nRespond to urgent field needs and support operational or emergency work outside normal business hours when required.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nRequired Experience & Education\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nTechnical or vocational training in construction, welding, mechanical systems, pipelines, production operations, or a related field preferred.\nTen or more years of oil and gas, pipeline, industrial, civil, or facilities construction experience preferred.\nFive or more years of experience leading crews, contractors, or field construction activities are preferred.\nExperience with production facilities, pipelines, tank batteries, civil work, mechanical construction, and facility commissioning strongly preferred.\nAn equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nCrescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
