Through disciplined and accretive investments, we have successfully tripled the size of our company since going public in December 2021 while maintaining a strong balance sheet.\nThe Lease Operator is responsible for monitoring and reporting on production and other pertinent well information, and provides maintenance on production equipment. The position applies basic and some advanced skills to perform routine and complex operations using tools and equipment appropriate for the energy industry. Applies a general understanding of the technical concepts, practices, and procedures, and has a general knowledge of industry standards and government regulations related to the oil and gas industry.\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nGauge production on assigned wells and record gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information into the production system.\nPerform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc.\nNote problems and/or recommend course of action to the supervisor to minimize costs and maximize production.\nAssist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; monitor chemical use; test safety systems daily to maximize production.\nAssist with pump and compressor maintenance such as oil changes, obtaining oil samples for analysis, tests, and repairs.\nAttend and participate in daily production meetings, monthly safety meetings, and quarterly well reviews.\nUtilize SCADA to monitor and evaluate well performance and facility status, respond to SCADA alarms if required.\nPerform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells, equipment, and leases for which the Lease Operator is responsible.\nConduct other tasks as required by the supervisor, which are unique to the assigned geographic area.\nMust be self-motivated, have strong ethics, ability to work with minimum supervision, have reliable attendance, and demonstrate flexible cooperative behavior in the workplace.\nEDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nA minimum of 2 years of lease operator experience or related experience preferred.\nMust meet and maintain eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle.\nMust have a general knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations.\nMust have experience using computers and inputting data, use of MS Word and MS Excel is a plus.\nMust have an interest in gaining knowledge of engineering principles and an understanding of subsurface and surface equipment and operations.\nMust be able to perform simple mathematic calculations, have a good mechanical aptitude, good writing skills and a good safety and driving record.\nMust be dependable and have ability to work overtime, if necessary.\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nWork is normally performed outdoors where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes and gases is common. Noise level is moderate to loud and includes sounds of construction, equipment operations, and trucks and similar equipment. Job hazards include working in normal light and heavy construction activities and working around pressured propane, water, electricity, and waste lines and under all weather conditions. May work in areas where H2S is present. Overtime is sometimes required.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWork normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level. Work may require frequent pushing, pulling, or carrying 50 to 75 pound objects such as tools, equipment work operations.
